Work is meant to lift people out of poverty, yet for many people in the North East it no longer covers the basics. This event brings together evidence and insight from an in-work poverty survey that was carried out by Society Matters CIC and will be presented at this event by Society Matters Foundation. The event will also highlight research by Durham University Business School Centre for Research on Organisations, Work and Society’s Employment and Wellbeing Research Project.
